It also contains a directory of facilities that will reuse or recycle many of your household items. - Washtenaw County Green Map - A guide to some of the people, places and things that strive to make Washtenaw County a sustainable community. - Composting Basics: An Introduction to Composting in Your Back Yard - This booklet provides information on how to start your own compost pile. This publication also outlines the environmental benefits of composting. -Sharps Home Disposal Guidelines - This pamphlet provides information on the safe disposal of household sharps, including a listing of participating pharmacies that will accept sharps containers.
